what is everyone hoping to acheive/finish/shoot do in 2005.

Personally.

1. Take Mortus Illumina to Cannes
2. Build up the gun side of my business
3. Increase the A&R side of my business to two artists (currently 1 at the moment)
4. Get Henry V script finished and all the groundwork concept work
5. Get at least half the budget for Henry V in place.
6. Reshoot a short film i did called Gratuitis Nudity which mysteriously disapeared.
7. Get out of the UK for a while.

To achieve/finish/shoot in 2005:

1. Shoot and finish 'This Happy Existence' 12mins
2. Shoot 'MAIM' 2mins and 'By The Light' 2mins
3. Shoot a TV commercial to go on air, for lots of money (or a bit of money)(or no money at all)
4. Write a feature script
5. Perfect my French to a standard that I could work over there
6. Get the carsickpictures.com website properly up and running

if this can get on Richard and Judy, so can Rod Shuffler (hmmmm, Rod really must update his website to include the threatened litigation

*blush* I want to have a go at making my first filmy-wotsit... It's gonna be about a pretty bland topic - living in London - but at least it'll give a me a chance to play about with the camera, practise with Adobe Premier Pro. Honestly, I'm feeling a bit timid about it but I guess it's just cos it's my first one. I'm a one-man band at the mo but I'm sure I can coax a couple of friends here and there to help me and make sure my camera doesn't get stolen! Can't wait to start - not sure how but I couldn't sleep last night with ideas flying around in my head so hopefully... This site's amazing and you all sound amazing. Wish me luck - and any advice for shy directors...bring it on!

1) Make a big marketing push.

Things have been going really well for me over the last year and a half so I don't have anything to bitch about. Yet, it seems I am getting nothing but Indie narrative gigs. My plan is to rebrand myself and make a push for more spot work.

Other than that...Prepare my liver for another year of torture.

I'm still a relative nobie in the film making game but my hopes for next year are:

1. To shoot the end of a short called Bounty
2. To begging and finish shooting the Short The Magpie trap
3. Shoot the Short Honour
4. Shoot the short Brave Men
5. Finish a large chunk of pre-production on my first feature.

Its a lot of work but all of the shorts are written and planned its just shooting and editing thats left. I look forward to really getting my teeth into these challenges

5. Finsh Story Boards and lock down funds for

6. And finish the blasted comedy script I have
promised the Mol-dawg!

1) Shoot my semi-feature Rumble in the Bowels in proper locations, proper equipment, and maybe a proper actor or two.

2) Stage a film festival to pimp our shit to the masses(we'll see if this is viable in mid-january)

3) Get into university.

4) Expand my Jerry Goldsmith collection.

2) Successfully editing/shooting my two shorts with good/excellent results
3) Successfully contacting a professional director wich i got the number of.
4) Successfully fixing up my sentimental life
5) Successfully trying to find some time for making a decent website
6) Successfully trying to catch "King Kong" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Fatory" at the theaters.
7) Successfully being happy with my family, friends, new apartament....

i fear much of these things simply will not happen... but who cares.
